Fixed Income Securities
A group of investment instruments that offer a fixed periodic return. Fixed income securities can be regarded as companies or government borrowing money from the market and the returns are based on the credit worthiness of the respective borrower. In general, the higher the credit of the borrower, the lower the rate of return.
